Ora et Labora Technologies works where emerging technology and creative design meet the old-world virtues of highest quality, honesty, and hard work. Ora et labora—pray and work—is the Benedictine balance of spiritual devotion and serious effort, the rule monks used to keep idleness out and to turn ordinary tasks into acts of worship. Likewise, I run a thread of quiet prayer during the workday and throughout every engagement, so that reflection and execution stay in proportion.
That balance is how I serve.
25+ years of experience across aviation, finance, telecommunications, software development, project execution and leadership have taught me that costly mistakes happen when building starts before anyone has understood why, and that executive oversimplification of a problem leads to inconsistent outcomes. I work with each client to name the purpose first—what is your business need and the outcomes you are looking to achieve—then bring intense solution execution to a problem I actually comprehend. Innovation here is not speed for its own sake. It is old standards applied to new materials: humility about what I do not know, stability in the promises I keep, and stewardship of what is entrusted to me.
I strive to elevate the craft as a technologist by refusing to create or deploy anything that doesn’t 100% work each time, every time. Tools, designs, and decisions are handled as things that ought to last and tell the truth. The aim is work that is useful, honest, and worthy of the people who will depend on it—offered, with the prayer that steadies it, and ultimately for the greater glory of God and the good of those I serve.
